Understanding the nature of astrological content in the app
Astrological readings, horoscopes, compatibility scores, numerology results, and all prediction-based content are for entertainment and spiritual reflection only. They should not be taken as factual or used as a basis for major life decisions.
What This Means
- Daily horoscopes are general readings based on sun sign positions. They are not personalized medical, financial, or relationship advice.
- Compatibility scores (both Western zodiac and Vedic Ashtakoot) reflect traditional astrological frameworks. They do not predict the success or failure of any relationship.
- Fertility horoscopes and auspicious day calendars draw from astrological traditions and should not replace medical fertility guidance from your healthcare provider.
- Numerology analysis (baby name energy, life path numbers) is based on traditional numerological systems and is presented as a fun, reflective exercise.
- Vedic astrology content (nakshatras, tithis, panchang, dashas) follows traditional Jyotish principles and is presented for cultural and spiritual context.
- Natal chart interpretations and planetary transits are calculated from astronomical positions but their interpretive meaning is rooted in astrological tradition, not empirical science.
- Chinese zodiac readings are based on traditional Chinese astrological systems.
Accuracy of Astrological Calculations
Astrological calculations (planetary positions, chart data, nakshatra determination) are computed using astronomical algorithms and third-party services. While the underlying astronomical math is precise, the interpretive layer (what these positions "mean") is a matter of belief and tradition, not scientific fact.
For more accurate birth chart calculations, providing your exact birth time and birth location is recommended. Without these, the app uses default values which may affect the precision of chart-specific readings.
Data Sources & Attribution
Where our astrological and wellness data comes from
Daily horoscopes, planetary positions, natal charts, Vedic astrology details (panchang, nakshatras, dashas), Ashtakoot compatibility, numerology calculations, Chinese zodiac, and moon phase data are provided by AstrologyAPI.
Guided meditations, affirmations, rituals, journal prompts, and multi-faith spiritual content are curated by the Sacred Beginnings team and rooted in their respective cultural and spiritual traditions. This content is presented respectfully for personal reflection and does not represent official religious guidance.
Cycle tracking predictions, wellness scores, and health metrics are based on general health information and user-provided data. They use standard calculation methods but are not clinically validated. Health data synced from Apple Health or Health Connect is provided by your device and its connected sensors.
The in-app AI assistant is powered by Anthropic's Claude. It provides general information and spiritual support. It is not a medical professional, therapist, or certified counselor. Always verify important information with qualified professionals.

Important limitations of health-related features
Cycle Tracking & Predictions
The app's cycle prediction engine uses your logged data (period dates, basal body temperature, cervical mucus observations, OPK results) to estimate future cycles, fertile windows, and ovulation timing. These predictions are estimates based on patterns and may not be accurate for every individual or cycle.
Cycle predictions should not be used as a sole method of contraception or as a substitute for professional fertility assessment. If you are having difficulty conceiving, please consult a reproductive endocrinologist or fertility specialist.
Wellness Scores
Wellness scores, alignment scores, fertility readiness scores, and emotional wellness scores are calculated from self-reported data and general wellness principles. They are motivational tools, not clinical assessments. A low or high score does not constitute a medical diagnosis.
Supplement & Nutrition Information
Supplement suggestions and nutrition information in the app are general wellness information. They are not prescriptions. Always consult your healthcare provider before starting any new supplement, especially during preconception, pregnancy, or postpartum periods.
Community Content
User-generated content and shared experiences
The community features (forums, support circles, success stories) contain user-generated content that represents individual experiences and opinions. Sacred Beginnings does not endorse, verify, or take responsibility for the accuracy of user-shared content.
